What an exciting week!

My long weekend took a detour last Saturday when I returned to Cardiff for a special, one-day mastermind which made me re-think my sales funnel for my Inbox Rockstar membership.

It needs a little more refining but I don’t think I’ve had as much clarity and focus for a product in all the years I’ve been making the monies online!

Plus, the mastermind also resulted in a new accountability partner for me which I am also very excited about.

The marketer in question lives very close by in South Wales so we can actually meet up and help each other out rather than talk over the net…

Plus, we’re both heavily interested in the email marketing side of the IM niche so I’m confident this new partnership will work out very well for the both of us!

We’re meeting up next week, so looking forward to that.

Internet Marketing Through 3D Glasses

Every time Nicola, Thomas and I go away for a few days, a week or whatever, something goes wrong when we return home. A few weeks ago, the boiler refused to work and this time, despite being unplugged all weekend, the television in the living room refused to work. Never mind, I wanted to replace it with something spectacular anyway and this gave me the perfect opportunity to do so. Seriously, the picture is incredible – I still cannot believe how good it is several days in to watching it.

More television-related shenanigans in this post but this time about the upsell tactics used at the store I bought it from. What I find crazy is the shop staff are likely to be pulling in minimum wage with the incentive of a small commission on sales. They don’t realise it, but they have been taught some pretty aggressive marketing techniques they could use in the “outside world” to make a lot more money. Here I run you through some of the upsells I was offered and reveal whether I took them or not!

If you’ve been on my list or read my blog for any period of time, you’ll know I like to do my marketing differently than the swarms of gleaming-toothed “IM gurus”. You know, those who cannot tell you quickly enough just how easy it is for somebody with zero skills, knowledge, experience, money or motivation to make the monies online. Most of these clowns with the rented “millionaire lifestyle” have never made money other than by telling gullible fools that it’s “a piece a cake” to make money.
