I got back from a week away on Friday and logged onto the Internet for the first time.
Actually, that’s not strictly true… I still logged into Facebook via my iPhone.
But, I didn’t check my emails for an entire week – over 400 awaited me upon my return!
While it was nice to get away, I actually missed Internet Marketing!
I’m looking forward to getting back to it from Monday.
In the meantime, here’s the content I sceduled my autoresponder and WordPress to send out in my absence:
Monday:
The World’s Most Expensive Email
OK, so there’s not a great deal of “content” in this post. I tell you my email marketing memebership is expensive and if you are motivated by price, look for a cheaper option. However, if you want to save time and not have to learn a brand new “system” that may take months before it becomes profitable (if it does at all) then my “done for you” service is the solution for you.
Tuesday:
Your Hall Pass To Marketing Success
I watched the movie Hall Pass a few weeks ago because I enjoy gross-out comedies which are short on plot. Sometimes it’s just nice to relax in front on the sofa and consume some televisual junk food. Also, the movie starred Christina Applegate, who has weathered fairly well over the years… as a teenager I used to lust over her during her Married With Children days. But, back to the movie, I wasn’t able to use a lot of the material because it wasn’t suitable for a family friendly audience. I mean, I can’t get away with talking about things like “fake chow” and Irishmen with minute genitalia, can I?
Wednesday:
How The Cool Cats Did Internet Marketing In The 1950s
After reading about how the quiff is making a comeback among the Hollywood glitterati it seemed as good a time as any to write a 1950s-themed email. It was lots of fun trying to work in as much slang from fifty-odd years ago as possible and hopefully that helped cover up the fact there wasn’t an awful lot of content in this post either. I’ve been away on holiday this week, give me a break!
Thursday:
The Taylor Hicks School Of Marketing Hard Knocks
This post, however, did include some pretty good content and I had wanted to write this for several weeks. I’d never heard of Taylor Hicks until I read Celebrity, Inc. but I was inspired by his story of winning American Idol, fading into obscurity and working his ass off to become a success. It sounds corny but I see a lot of myself in his story and I wish him every success in the future. Anyone who is not getting the results they want as an Internet Marketer and thinking about giving up should read this post.
Friday:
And so a relaxing family holiday comes to an end and I have rekindled my friendship with beer. But, it will be a short-lived friendship as I plan on rebooting P90x2 from Monday. This post looks at some of the most expensive and cheapest prices for a pint of beer around the world. Generally, the more dubious the country, the cheaper it is to forget you are there…
Have a great weekend!
