It’s been a few days since my last post, so today I want to get your up to speed on what’s been going on at Walker Towers.
The reason for a lack of updates is I went away for a long weekend (Friday to Monday… not long enough IMHO).
While the break was nice, I’m beginning to wonder if going away is worth the hassle.
You see, when we go away, we’re always met by a “mini crisis” when we return.
Last month our boiler refused to work and it took an engineer an hour to get it going again…
And this time, our television booked a trip to the scrapyard.
I wanted to replace it anyway, I just didn’t expect to do it this year.
As an infotainment marketer, a television is a must.
Hundreds of other marketers will tell you they don’t watch TV and feel superior to those who do…
But the success of my business depends on me watching something mind-numbing, distracting, entertaining or however else you want to describe it at least a few times a week!
So, herein lies the opportunity.
The now-dead television was a 42 inch Panasonic Viera…
Plasma screen – just over five years old.
Top of the range in it’s day, but now very much a poor relation compared to what is currently available on the market.
It was time to “invest” in something great…
So, I purchased (as a business expense, of course) a 55 inch Samsung.
LED screen, 3D, Internet-ready and voice controlled.
In short – it’s the mutts nuts…
The picture clarity is incredible – I didn’t do any work at all yesterday because I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen.
Getting inspiration for future email content is going to be a lot more fun “working” with this television!
The “take home” from all this?
A hurdle in your business shouldn’t stop you from doing business…
You use it as an opportunity to move onto something better.
If you’re a marketer that isn’t making any money “marketing”, then the solution is right here:
As an Inbox Rockstar member, you can download at least 20 “fill in the blanks” email marketing templates every month.
They are written in my “infotainment” style and can be used to promote any products in any niche.
Email marketing – done for you.
Talk Soon,

P.S. I took a detour from my weekend away, returning to Cardiff on Saturday to attend a behind-closed-doors mastermind session…
That was also the result of flipping a problem onto its head and moving forward onto something bigger and better!
But, I think that’s a story for another day…
Today, I want you to check out:

Hi Dave, I’ve been popping over here from time to time but never got round to leaving a comment. Sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day! Anyway, hope you had a good break despite your crisis (crisis? What crisis? I’d say a new hi spec telly is the kind of crisis most wouldn’t be too worried about!) I do know what you mean though, an expense you hadn’t banked on right now.
Enjoy the journey.
